The son of east Texas teachers, Jonathan Charles Andresen was raised on a working cattle ranch near the small town of Commerce, Texas.  After a focused and leadership oriented upbringing, he was accepted to Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas where he joined the Corps of Cadets and their renowned Company E-2.  He graduated with a B.S. in Political Science in 2000 and went on to work as a congressional aide to Congressman Joe Barton on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.

After returning to Texas in 2001, Jonathan enrolled at South Texas College of Law in Houston, where he excelled on the school’s varsity moot court and mock trial teams, helping them win many accolades and awards in the two years he participated. He graduated in 2004 with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence.

Before founding The Andresen Firm, Jonathan worked for some of the most select private litigation firms in Houston. He has litigated cases in state and federal court in seventeen other states besides Texas including, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, and Washington.

After working across the country, Jonathan started The Andresen Firm in April 2007 to offer people and small businesses nationwide a location where they could have their legal questions and concerns handled by the finest attorneys available.
