The son of east Texas teachers, Jonathan Charles Andresen was raised on a working cattle ranch near the small town of Commerce, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2000 where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and their renowned Company E-2.

As an undergraduate student, Jonathan earned numerous academic and military honors and was repeatedly named to the Dean’s Honor List and Commandant’s Honor List. He received a bachelors of science in Political Science and declined an officer’s commission to work as a Congressional Aide to Congressman Joe Barton in Washington D.C.

After returning to Texas in 2001, Jonathan enrolled at South Texas College of Law in Houston, where he excelled on the school’s varsity moot court and mock trial teams, helping them win many accolades and awards in the two years he participated. He graduated in 2004 with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence.

Before founding The Andresen Firm, Jonathan worked for some of the most select private litigation firms in Houston. He earned an undefeated case record as lead counsel and has litigated cases in state and federal court in seventeen other states besides Texas including, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, and Washington.

Since founding The Andresen Firm in April 2007, Jonathan has handled a variety of legal matters for his clients including taxpayers challenging a billion-dollar election referendum, successfully prosecuting and defending multiple wrongful death cases, setting up and negotiating multi-million dollar international distribution deals, successfully defending and prosecuting federal and state employment class-actions, and numerous breach of contract and deceptive trade practices cases.

Jonathan founded The Andresen Firm to offer clients nationwide a location where they could have all their legal questions and concerns addressed by the finest attorneys available. The firm offers a full range of legal services, and represents clients in all business, employment, consumer, and personal disputes and cases.
